I went to Vincentian Prayer House in Lavington with one intention in mind; to get priestly blessings as I wanted to apply for a visa to go to the USA so as we can be reunited with my husband whom we have been having many problems because of the distance. I had no papers at the time and I was not even sure whether my boss would agree to sign for me so as to facilitate the application. It was during a Parish Retreat at Don bosco Parish, Upper hill that I had shared my dilemma with one of the Vincentian Father who gave me some scriptures to pray and he also advised me to start the process of applying again and to believe that this time round Jesus would open a way for me.
I thank Jesus because miraculously I got the visa! God appointed people who I did not know to help me to the extent that I never even went for an interview at the embassy and my visa took me only 2 days to come out yet my appointment was scheduled for the 18th of July but as we speak I am in the USA since the 29th of June. There is no one like Jesus I am so thankful to God and I know that was a sign that He wants my marriage to work.
