My mind can still not comprehend on the mighty deeds of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. As I came to Vincentian Prayer House for the Lenten Retreat, I was bended down by the weight of miseries and afflictions that seemed to overwhelm me. It had been two and a half year of struggles and problems with no money as I was jobless. As I entered the prayer hall, all I could say was “Jesus, please help me!” I didn’t know the peace and joy of the Lord until then. I was filled with gladness and I rejoiced in my adversities trusting the Lord fully. My Jesus was very loving to me and for the first time in my life, I experienced His love. On the last day of the retreat, I saw a priest for some Bible Verses to claim and believe it or not within duration of one month I was already blessed with a job of His choice! What more can I say then, may the name of the Lord Jesus be glorified now and forever.
“O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.” (Isaiah 25:1)
